Sims 4 launcher bug
I loaded my game, and this is what I saw. I disabled mods to see if it was a bug from a mod and I still see it.

Did you delete the localthumbcache file after removing your mods/cc ?
Okay, I'm guessing I'm not seeing what's wrong with it. This is the screen I got after the update, only I was invited to start a new game . . .
This is just the new screen. If you mean the fact your household name is just a bunch of W’s I think you might just need to embrace it lol
the bunch of W's is what im talking about. I do not own the horse pack nor the household that is on startup
I'm talking about the random household and the W's
That's odd. Have you tried loading the game? It could fix itself? Or you might have to start a new save and download your Sims from the library and start over.
Then please try that.
I ended up needing to restart my whole game on that pc and now it's happened on my pc in the lounge (different pc to the one I originally made the post with)
are you using defender ? If so, could you check if the game is blocked by the controlled user access.
