Sims 4 on Mac or Xbox?

I so badly want to start playing the sims 4 on Mac, I am currently playing on Xbox and it’s literally impossible! 😂 is there anyone who has played the game on both? Which do you prefer? Because I have heard people say that mac isn’t that great so I am now really stuck and don’t know what to choose. Every time I see streamers/YouTubers play the sims on Mac it seems to be working much better than Xbox it runs much smoother. Would I be wasting my money if I switched to Mac or would it be better?
