Sims 4 on Steam?
I want to preorder the Sims 4, but I want to know if it will be sold on Steam? I see preorder issues with Origin and I prefer a digital version of the game, and I would really like to get this game ...

I would just like to point out that The Sims 3 was not released on Steam until January 2011, which was about a year and half after The Sims 3 was launched. Steam is a bit of a competitor for Origin, so I would not expect The Sims 4 to be released through Steam for at least a few months, if not another year. EA loses control if they sell through Steam, as I think Steam are able to sell the games on sales without EA's permission.
So in summary, Steam is an emerging popular platform, but so is Origin, which EA want to grow further - I think it may end up on Steam eventually, but there is no guarantee.
