okay so I reinstalled the sims 4 after not playing for a while and now the packs are installed is what it says in the EA app but when I go to manage worlds in the game it says I need to install or wait til the packs finish downloading to use those worlds/packs that literally state they are downloaded in the ea app, idk what to do i tried repairing
I thought I had only one account and inputted my old email address when I had to sign in. I got in, but no packs showed up. Then I signed out and tried with my current email and I got in with packs showing up. I somehow had two accounts with the same info except for the email, and the packs were acquired with the newer account. I don't remember creating the older one, but it may have been from before I started playing The Sims.
So, the game recognized the old account as valid, but not as the account that bought the Sims packs.
what did you do pls? did u log into that old account? i dont think i remember my old one
This happened to me because I had to sign in and there was a conflict between my current EA account and a different ancient account I had created years ago (but forgot about) with a different email address. The packs showed up, but were greyed out because the account info conflicted.
Try going to Marketplace - My Collection and see whether the packs are deactivated. If they are, then enable them and reload the game.
