Sims 4 sleep issue

Is anyone else having an issue with the Sims 4 not doing a full sleep? I just downloaded the  Get Famous expansion pack and I'm unable to use cheats or get the characters to do a full sleep. They will sleep for a few seconds and then wake right back up. Apparently this has happened previously, but it has started working again

  • @SLJB1287   Hi!  I have experienced this before but not recently.  I also did some searching and found some older reports.  Here are a few things to try in your game.

    - Exit the game and run a game repair (EA app: click the game in Library, click manage, click repair; Origin: right-click the game in Library, click Repair)

    - Check for any stereos playing music in the room.  Sims mostly won't sleep if there's music playing.

    - Save your game or use Save As to create a new save file, back out of the game then reload the save

    - Travel with your sims then have them come back to the home lot

    - Move the household out and back in (you may want to use a cheat to recover any money used for this)

    - Try using the Likes / Dislikes panel or a dresser to take your sim to CAS and back

    - If you're using any mods / CC, it's a good idea to test without them

     -- Exit the game

-- Move the Mods folder to your desktop

-- Delete the localthumbcache.package file located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder

     -- Run a game repair

-- Load the save to see if it's still happening (don't save the game without mods / CC)  or create a New save for testing

Please come back and update if any of these helped or not.

Look for any noise makers such as Radios, TVs, windchimes and others. Do you have pets then lock the bedroom doors for pets so they don't wake up your sim. If in an apartment are there noisy neighbors?
