Yes, it does actually. I'll get back to you after I make two test households with the trait and without it.

EMPShielded Are you saying you removed the Off the Grid challenge, and you still couldn't load the lot? Or are you saying Off the Grid worked on a different lot?
If you can't load the lot in live mode even with OtG removed, please move the sims living there to a different lot and try to load them. Then move a new sim (make them in CAS; don't download from the Gallery or use an existing Library sim) and place them on the old lot. Let me know what you can and can't load. This is just for testing; you don't need to save your progress.
Please also delete any lastexception files in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 before you start. If you get a new LE, upload it to this site. You may or may not need to delete the first line of the LE.
