Sims 4 vet career

The vet career is not possible to be equipped with a phone or a computer for a sim who does not own a vet clinic. I wanted to give it a try since I know it can be equipped with cheats. I cheated the career with a sim who does not own any vet clinics. After adding the career I was wondering how long does it take for my sim to call it a day, and come back home. Turns out my sim has become a total workaholic and is now literally working 24/7.

Could this be fixed? It would be nice to practice a veterinarian career with a sim who does not own any clinic.

I know that the clinic is open even though left closed when playing as the owner sim, and when playing with the clinic owner sim the clinic is only open when a player decides so. My sim has to work every day Sun-Sat from 9 AM - to 9 AM.

    Unfortunately, the UI to open and close the vet clinic is found in the tab where you refer to the lot you purchased. If you have a check-in podium, you can set it to disallow and allow new customers, but it sounds like you've somehow given your Sim the NPC vet job and they've left the lot.

    I've done a rags to riches with a super dodgy vet who owned an empty lot in Magnolia Promenade with vet equipment on the lawn. LOL! Then there was a rainstorm and I had to quickly assemble something out of roof pieces because I couldn't afford walls.  Good times!  :D So you don't have to be rich to own the clinic.
