Hi there having issues with changing my video camera speed. I go into the video camera.ini file, change the speed, save it. The file shows its changed but when I launch my game nothing changes.
I've tried a repair game and that hasn't solved it.
Wondering if the file is corrupted and if I can delete it? Would a new one generate?
@StarShuz The VideoCamera.ini file is within the game's program files, so in order to create a new file, you'd need to repair. In fact, when you repair Sims 4 or update it, the file will revert to its default state. A repair doesn't replace an unchanged file, just an edited one.
When you change the .ini file and save it, do the changes stick if you don't open Sims 4 first? Please check.
I change the file before I launch the game. The file changes the numbers and saves it but when I launch the game it doesn't reflect the change and is still stuck on default.
@StarShuz Sorry, I meant that if you edit VideoCamera.ini, save, quit, and reopen it without opening Sims 4 in between, are the values you entered still preserved? Are the values preserved after you open Sims 4 and quit again?
Please also list the changes you're trying to make, in fact post a screenshot of the edited file so people can take a look.
