Sims 4 won't launch since the new update

I play on an iMac desktop. EA will open, but when I go to launch The Sims 4. It won't launch. I have checked all my mods. When I go to launch the Sims, I get the spinning beach ball. I have restarted my computer. I feel like I've tried everything but uninstalling the game itself. Please Help!
