Can't travel from non-home lots
if i want to travel from my homelot everything's fine (mostly, the city living world isn't accessible, the other ones work). However i can't leave from other lots (if i press the home button- that works. but just travelling doesnt't. At least not from the romance festival-lot). If I try to travel with my sims, the loading screen appears, but that's it. no world map, no chance to leave except to close the game via strg+alt+entf i'm not using any mods either.Resizing body parts and rotating via click and drag in CAS freezes game.
My problems started after updating on 19th Oct 25. When in CAS, clicking and dragging to rotate the sim or to manipulate / resize a body part will cause the game to go into an unrecoverable freeze. I have tested across multiple devices (AM3+ -based gaming PC, Intel ivy bridge-based macbook pro, AM5-based thinkpad) with the same symptoms. After freezing, the game has to be manually killed. Lot stuck in permanent loading
Help! I have tried everything and nothing has worked at all. I have this one lot in my Very Veggie Legacy challenge where I placed a wedding venue that never properly worked. However, I hav been trying to replace it, but when I do it traps me in loading screens. I have repaired my game, replaced the lot in and out of build mode, sent a sim to the venue to see if it would work, everything. Each time, it never worked, and I did the out of build mode place a lot there, and its been almost two hours, where I left to eat lunch with a friend and came back to it STILL trying. And when I sent my sim over, I could bulldoze, but when I left build mode my entire game was frozen, but only actual gameplay, as all of the buttons could be pressed and used but no time would pass and my sim couldn't move. I have no mods, all base game besides the holiday pack, and I have a MacBook. I really don't wanna lose this save, but I desperately want this lot gone, as it is in a frankly awkward spot. Any help would be amazing, I don't think this counts as a bug since I know this has existed for years, but I have been trying since last night (October 15th) since around 11 PM.
Game froze/ crashed and showed a different household
So I was playing last night because of the event, even though I should not because I'm risking my saves. I played in my rotational save for all premade sims that is on round 16, now I believe the biggest reason it has made it so far is because I create a new save (when saving the game) least once a sims week (when I move on to another household), instead of just using the save button (also don't have much clutter and keep inventories at a minimum). Now, the game started to lag a lot in the second household I played for the game session. I did more of the "Save As", but it started lagging when going into build mode and exiting and then when playing. One sim got the action queue going on forever all of a sudden (you know when the light grey indication of the action queue keeps going up with nothing to fill it). And a child sims that just aged up get a strange reaction to the servo over and over, like he was stuck in a reaction glitch. I reset all sims but that did not work. A few minutes later then game froze completely. I waited about 5 minutes and then went to task manager. I have several desktop screens (or whatever they are called - windows 11) so when tabed out to another screen to click on task manager, I got back pushed back into viewing the game on the other desktop view. When that happened the game changed, now I was in another household (one I had played before), but it was still frozen and all that. It was so strange. It literally looked like that was the household I had been playing just when the game crashed. It was frozen like the other household, but I was actively plaing this house now. I repaired the game but have not looked at it since. for the game to "move me over to another earlier played households in the game", I'm wondering how this save/ that other household is in regards to corruption... I do not have AA but I noticed that they game go severely more unstable after I bought For Rent and Horse Ranch. For me though i'm not entirely sure For Rent/ resent update is all to blame. Maybe it is just simply me having so many packs/ sims 4 systems working at the same time. Althohg I do have the slow reaction in build mode when I build or am in a lot that is a residential rental. I have a decent PC by the way, so it is not a pc issue. Just wanted to mentioned that as I have come accross several issues on the forums that could be attributed to a low end pc (as well as game bugs). I play on pc with no cc or mods I have all expansions up til For Rent except High School Years All stuff packs All game packs except Dream Home Decorator and My Wedding Stories I only have a couple of kits that were free at one pointGame freezes, then reverts to hours earlier
Since installing Adventure Awaits: The entire world freezes, including the clock. The first time, I went to Manage Worlds but was stuck in the loading screen, so force-crashed. Then I could not launch the game at all. I rebooted and repaired game and could play again. After a while, the same freeze happened. I was able to go to Build/Buy and put down some terrain paint, but there was no option to erase it or undo it. I went back to live mode - still frozen. Went to Manage Worlds. This time it didn't get stuck, but this is how my menu looked: I didn't attempt to save so "the game failed to save" message is interesting. After that I was able to get back into my original household... but time reverted back to the point when I first started playing. As in it rewound several hours. All the changes I'd made to the lot since opening the game were gone. Also I was then completely unable to access the current event. I can see the Rewards panel but not the Quests. Before the freeze, I had made a lot of progress in the event, but since time reverted I'm not sure if that became confused. I play on Mac. I have all expansions except Batuu and Strangerville and most of the smaller ones. I do not use mods or CC.
keep getting sent back to manage worlds menu
i am at my breaking point . every time I go into a sims world (not just one with CC) I get sent back to the manage worlds menu. This has been happening about a month or so and have tried all the remidnies (see below). One time I got the error message of 122:502fc384:b7e315fb. I cannot build or create a new household. I had this problem happen once last year on a different save file and device but it fixed itself. I play on a 2020 Mac Air iCore7 chip last year it happened on a 2018 model. I have removed my mods scripts etc., deleted EA app, ran BE, used s4s, cleared thumbcashe, updated mods, repaired the game, all of that fun stuff ! if anyone could help PLEASE PLEASE reach out :(
Game Forever Saving Issue
I haven't been able to play consistently for almost two weeks. It started with the game freezing in game on Saturday at 12:04am. I finally was able to move past that (I've double checked mods, removed what I thought were broken mods, even played without mods.) But in the last week and a half I've only made it to Sunday night at 10:00pm. I load in, check the game, can initially save no problem. So then I obsessively save every few minutes, have zero issues, and continue playing a couple days in game, try to save again (after my sim had a baby), and the game is forever stuck in the saving screen. I can't override it, can't close my game, I have to restart my computer to get out of the saving screen. I've tried repairing my game multiple times and nothing is working. I've been playing in this save for 7 generations, I'm currently trying to save my family and their siblings to move to a new save file just to see if starting over like that will fix things. I've been playing for years and have never had this issue.
Game freezes and sims disappear when splitting household
I tried to split household and move. The game froze on the "Split household" screen. Alt+F4 allowed me to save and exit - big mistake! When I reopened the game the sim had disappeared from my household but doesn't exist anymore. Can't be found anywhere in "Manage households", but is also completely gone from the family members' relationship panels. I don't use any mods or cc.
