Corrupted lot?
So it appears that within my save file, there are a few corrupted lots. One in particular doesn't even let me open it in any way and will get stuck on the loading screen no matter what I do. The lot that is the worst for this is 'Brook Bungalow' in Willow Creek. The save file I use is the custom save file created by PlumbobKingdom and I know that the house that is built on said lot does not contain any custom content, however I think that the creator did use the TOOL mod which I personally do not have installed. I am really unsure how to fix this issue, as I have run out of possible ways that I know of to work around it. If anyone happens to know a way to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
Crashing when traveling to the vet clinic
Every time I try to travel to my vet clinic, the game will crash. It's very annoying and I have not played the game for 2-3 months now because og this bug. I've tried to switch to DX9 and I've tried to lower my grafics in case the game was too much for my computer – even though i bought this laptop specificly for school and Sims 4. When it crashes I'm always on the waiting screen, it then freezes and closes the app down.
Game freezes/ doesn't work correctly
If I play for a long time, the game either freezes, doesn't work as it should (my sim didn't go to work and the button didn't work neither did resetting the sim) and gets a little laggy. Get rid of the memory boost! It worked just fine before the patch! Yes, all my mods are updated too.Can't interact with computer
Hello people! my sims 4 computers aren't working right for the past 4 months. I wanted to ask how to fix it, basically i can't interact with them. If i click on a computer, my sim or any other sim it doesn't show anything. This has only happened after I installed some mods, but I have tried to unistall them, which did not help. Same thing happened when I "repaired" the game. I have waited for 2 months now and it still isn't working. It really budges me since my pregnancies and stuff aren't working anymore. The screen isn't working
The main menu works just fine, same with the case but when I pick a parcel I want to build on and go into life mode the screen is still blue after the loading is done and all the subtitles refuse to disappear. It's not any of my cc, it's not a game file corruption and I already tried to uninstall and reinstall my game, nothing's working.Sims remain visible in Build Mode
Game version: 1.125.59.1030 DX11 Platform: PC (EA App) Since yesterday, my Sims remain fully visible and frozen in Build Mode instead of disappearing as they normally should. The issue happens in every save, including brand new saves. The Sims cannot be clicked or interacted with while in Build Mode. They just stay frozen where they were when Build Mode was opened. Troubleshooting already attempted: Removed all mods and CC Disabled script mods Tested with a completely new "The Sims 4" folder Cleared cache and localthumbcache Repaired the game through EA App Tested DirectX 11 and DirectX 9 Created a new save Restarted the PC The issue persists after all these steps.
Active Sim freezes on lot load, A-pose after Reset (No Mods)
I’ve been playing the same save for about 3 years with the same household. The issue only started sometime in the past year after game updates. I completely removed all mods and tested in a vanilla game. The issue still occurs. Symptoms: Time continues normally. My active Sim stops responding to commands. Reset Object causes the Sim to stay in an A-pose for about 30–60 seconds. Other Sims don’t A-pose, but they stop performing interactions until my Sim recovers. Going to Manage Worlds and loading the lot again immediately fixes the issue. It happens more often after traveling between lots multiple times. No LastException or Better Exceptions reports are generated when this happens. The issue happens mostly during zone loading, especially: when loading into my home after starting the game when traveling to High School. Once the simulation finishes, everything returns to normal.
