endless loading screen, and then the game crashes
Today it´s the first time this has happened at all (I already played yesterday with the new update, and I haven´t changed anything). When I load into the manage world, the savingscreen is endless, and my game crashes after a while. It also happens when I click on save while playing. It´s unplayable. Also, while playing the little time I have, my Sims are very slow in reacting, and I needed to reset them multiple times... Fix your game!No romance interactions
The 12 May 2026 update just came out but I didn't update my game yet due to all the mods I have. As I was playing, I noticed my married sims don't have any romantic interactions except for offer a massage. I've had this problem before and it was the family tree that somehow changed them to siblings. I didn't know how to fix that so I had to delete my family. Now, when I click onto family tree to check if it's made the same error, the whole game freezes and crashes and I have to restart my laptop. Is it because of the update? If I update my game will it be fixed, or what?Save problems
When i finished creating a new family and try to save it, it keeps loading but never ends, also, nothing is saving, every time i open the game i mute the music on settings save the changes and when i open the sims again the music is there, every time i delete and old save, they come back the next time i open up the game. Also the gallery dotn work for me anymore. Im really sad because i was just starting on the sims😟Still glitching since 5/12/26 update
Anyone else still having issues playing live mode and CAS? I don’t even use mods. I’m frustrated. Here is a list of things that have happened in my game recently since the update yesterday: Male sim glitches when playing as a parent. The child either clings to him weirdly or his action panel has multiple actions pop up and won’t stop adding to the queue. Sim newborn and toddler’s needs are being weird. For example, because the male sim glitches, I get the mom to do the task with the child instead. My child’s needs for fun and energy are “dangerously” low and I tried putting her to sleep and she won’t go to sleep. So I can’t get her energy bar to go back up. Also my nanny and butler were helping take care of the kids but then it started messing them up too. “Slenderman” child glitch is happening to my kid now when trying to do an action… ifykyk. CAS keeps popping into tutorial mode even though I don’t click it so I can’t add more sims or animals to my household in CAS. I like adding pond effects to my ponds and fountains like the swans, ducks, fireflies and dragonflies but for some reason, they aren’t showing now during live mode. They’re still there in the pond on build mode but not live mode. There are some other things but that’s pretty much the gist right now. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues or what do I do? I’ve repaired and cleaned out my cache multiple times. When my sim glitches like that I don’t even save the game and just exit it to try and restart where it was last saved but it still glitches pretty quickly after restarting the game. I do want to point out that I do use sims from the gallery that have max skills but says the creator didn’t use cc’s or mod’s, cause it’s easier when starting out a household imo. It takes too long for them to build the skills otherwise lol. The game was working fine up until late last night, eastern standard US time.Pop-Up for age up too large for screen/Check mark missing
After my infant ages up, the trait selection popup appears but I cannot continue the game. There is no confirm button visible and the screen gets stuck. Ever since the May update, I've been getting stuck on loading screens when loading the save. I've run out ideas. I've tried deleting folders, deleting some save versions, took out all of my mods, and even tried on different saves. The only thing that works is different saves, which I'm assuming means it's a problem with my main save(the one the issue is occurring on). If it helps, I'm on Mac, using the EA app, and have an exception.
