System and UI issues
I first removed my Mods thinking they were an issue but they weren’t. When I try load into my game (and even with a new family) it just freezes and I can’t see anything, I can click the screen and make them “walk” but I can’t see if they’re actually doing it coz the screen just shows blue and an aspiration or whatever and it looks like there’s multiple of it behind it and when I click on the menu and then try exit it it just stays on the screen and looks like there’s multiple of it behind it. This only happened after the last update or last two updates I did after not playing for a while due to exams. I’m not sure what’s happening but I’m UNABLE to actually play the game… after the update this UI thing appeared and it said that it recommended that I put it down as my system couldn’t handle it or something like that…I’m not sure but I just thought I should include that…
Sims frozen during house party
I was trying to have a house party with 3 sims, when they just froze and cannot stop what they are doing. As they are in an event i cannot go to the menu of worlds, and i dont want to ruin the event by pressing ctrl alt esc to get out of the situation. Also the house items cannot be moved or deleted if i try to go to build mode to try and rest the game. Not keen on the updates so far!! Please sort out the bugs!! : / [CM edit - descriptive title]
Sims 4 Won't Save
I recently started over on a new laptop and only have 1 save file with 1 household on 1 lot. When trying to save after 5-10 minutes, it suddenly won't take the save and the icon spins there without an end in sight. I do not use mods/CCs and have not gotten an error that my save is corrupted either. I don't think the save file is corrupted or bloated since I only have 1 household and 1 save file. I have also deleted the localthumbcache.package in my Sims 4 folder. I have repaired the game and updated my laptop. The only recent thing that changed was that I purchased the Growing Together pack and 2 kits. I have restarted the Sims 4 application around 10 times already after trying each solution and nothing resolves the issue. Is this a current bug within the game or is there something else I need to do in order to repair the game? This has never been an issue before.
Worlds not loading (at all)
So this bug started for me for about 2 weeks ago. When I tried to load the worlds it didn't work, like at all. I tried waiting it out but nothing was happening. And now, when I tried to load my worlds again, it didn't work either. The screen is white, and I can see my family and "choose world" but then no worlds show up. (I tried to take a screenshot but my pc is not the best haha).
Game freezes and can't pause/interact
Time freezes in the game after like 10/30 seconds of opening it. The environment still moves and makes sound, but you cannot interact with the game or any of the people and even notifications. I have CC downloaded etc but it is all updated along with MCC Reports everything in there has been removed/updated/fixed so I dont know what the issue is.Certain sims needs frozen and not decreasing
Hello, recently come back to sims 4 after a couple of years. I’m playing on a gaming laptop, which is also able to run sims 3 perfectly. I’ve downloaded a few mods. Had MCC at the beginning, no issues. My sim adopted a toddler, again no issues. I then installed a couple other popular mods for gameplay and obviously cc along the way. Again, no issues. She aged up all the way to a teen, like she is now with no issues. However, when she was a child. My sims had a bag together. And since the baby has been an infant/toddler, their needs have never decreased. I’ve tried everything under the sun. I’ve tried resetting her multiple ways. I’ve tried with testing chests on and resetting her, also with MCC too. I’ve also tried disabling and enabling her needs to decay also. I’ve had her travel to reboot the needs etc. When I shift click on her and disable then enable her needs decaying, it does work for about a minute. However as soon as it’s rebooted and hunger, fun or bladder go down for example. It freezes at that and won’t budge either way. To add to the confusion. My sim had another baby, and the same thing has happened with him too. I noticed it when he was an infant as I was going 24hrs without feeding him. And he was never tired. I’ve done lots of resetting sims. I’ve also run the game without mods enabled in the options. And reset them, still no positive result from that either. im not sure if its a known glitch with the game. I would have thought if it was mods that it would have been obvious when I ran the game without anything. any help or ideas would be appreciated as I’m thinking about deleting the save file, which I don’t want to do. But it’s driving me insane! thanks in advance! :)Unable to lock doors
Issue: I have a Pet Clinic that I often play with and recently when I re-downloaded it to a new lot I was unable to lock any of the doors and the set employees only. I usually do this with businesses when I create break rooms for employees. My office in the pet clinic also doesn’t lock for my sim only. I tried to send it to where only my sim can enter that room. The option does not pop up. When I click the doors, they don’t pop up. Troubleshoot: I downloaded the lot and re-downloaded it from the gallery. I tried actually changing out all of the doors. I then try to take away a room and add the door that also did not work. Along with rebooting my modem and router for my Internet, along with restarting the game as a whole and deleting it and installing it.
