@simsplayer818 Good idea but doubtful it will happen if it was they would have done it ages ago.
I could also see financial benefits of adding classic Sims games for download, using older games to generate revenue. So it could be a win for EA/Maxis too. These creations are all great games which I doubt earn them that much money these days. A re release in a new format could kick-start that. So that could be an incentive to do it.
I know plenty of Sims players who would buy them on download plus since it's 22 years since the first game, newer players might really want to try the OG version and some of the lesser known spin offs. I'd buy all of them. That could be a lot of games sold. Sims 3 itself has a lot of appeal because of the custom creations, colour wheel, etc, that people have asked for in Sims 4.
If there were suddenly a load of Sims games added to the catalogue I can imagine a lot of happy people who either loved the old versions or never got to play them. Now that I'm a more experienced player I'd love another try with The Urbz because I remember that was the one I wasn't great at, maybe too starstruck by the Black Eyed Peas popping up everywhere!
It would be a nice way to say, we see you console players... even though we take years to fix your bugs. I've no doubt it would make financial sense too. Maybe they could consider it before the silver anniversary.
