@xxNephthysthe only 3 instances of having brawls like that that I know of is The Seasons Neighborhood Brawl holiday that you mentioned, the NAP initiative for brawling and being mean (but you said that that wasn't the current initiative) and the Get Together town of Windenburg (but you mentioned that you were in Newcrest). 🤔
You could try repealing the initiative if you have enough influence points. Perhaps the previous initiative overlapped , or there was a glitch and the game placed 2 of them? 🤔 I think you need 10 in fluence points to repeal an initiative.
Are you on a console or a PC/Mac? If you are on a PC/Mac do you happen to play with any Mods or Custom Content (CC)? 🤔 If you do, there is a possibility of an outdated Mod or CC item conflicting with your updated game. If you do play with Mods/CC then please try the following:
1) Move the Mods Folder to your desktop
2) Delete the localthumbcache.package file in the game folder. (This is very important). 🤨
3) Fix you game in Origin by logging in and go to Library, then right-click on The Sims 4 and choose the "Repair Game" option from the list. Wait until Origin finishes repairing all your packs and not just the base game.
4) Now, when you turn on your game again, it will create a new mods folder that will be empty. Check to see if your game is now working without mods/CC.
5) Now you can try adding back items from your Mods folder one at a time checking your game each time to see which item is causing your game to not work properly. If you have a lot of items, you can try the 50/50 Method.
The CC creators will usually update the CC items and Mods after these updates, so when you find out which one is the culprit, you can get the updated version from whoever made that item of CC in the first place. You should try these steps anytime you have problems in your game to rule out CC/Mods problems. It is the responsibility of the Mods/CC creators to update their items anytime EA releases a patch/update, and it is the responsibility of the people who use Mods/CC to make sure they are using the most recent version.
Just be sure that the Mod/CC item is updated to work with the June 4th patch to the game!
If you don't use Mods or CC , or if you do and the above steps didn't solve your problem, then the problem would be caused by something else. But we have to rule out any Mods/CC conflicts first. 😉

Hi thank you very much for getting back to me. I'm currently playing on PC and Mod/CC free figured the small amount (couple hairstyles and things) wouldn't have been updated and deleted before Friday 5th June and downloading the new content to avoid that happening. I'll try repairing the game see what happens, I always forget I can do that. I was thinking maybe there was a NAP in another neighborhood that they were trying to get points for like the new world ( forgot the name already lol) and it was spilling over to Newcrest when they would turn up for the yard sale but visited them and no-one was but I will keep up updated. If the repair doesn't work I'll maybe start over no much progress was made just very odd.
@xxNephthysthanks for updating us! 😇 When you try to repair your game again, please don't forget to delete the local thumb cache package. file (looks like localthumbcachepackage.file in your game files) This is very important in clearing up bits of unneeded or even corrupted data that may have remained! 🤨
If that doesn't help then it could be either a bug that other people will also encounter, or else a glitch that is just in your game, or just in that Save File.🤔 Everybody is still trying to figure out what is normal, what is a Mods/CC conflict, what is a bug, and what is an individual glitch. Hopefully in the coming days we will know more! 🤞
