Sims constantly going to sleep

Every time I check a Sim they have decided to sleep somewhere random! Would it be possible to tune how often sims decide to nap or sleep during the day? Playing on normal lifespan autonomous play No mods happening over many saves.  Sims will autonomously take naps constantly during the day without being in the red. Sometimes Sims will go to sleep during strange times and there is barely a need for sleeping usually the other needs are already met. Could it be tuned so Sims only nap autonomously during typical nap time in mid afternoon or early evening and only autonomously sleep during typical sleeping hours? I'm getting tired of this! 😄

I play on pc so I guess it's not the platform. Are you still experiencing this?

It would just be a pic of a Sim going to sleep/nap. What exactly would you want a picture of? I've just updated to the newest version no cc no mods. It still happens constantly like it's my most canceled interaction and it's been happening for years irl.  I'm constantly stopping my sims from going for a random nap no matter where they are. Naps should only be around noon and only at home and sleeping shouldn't be auto resolved unless the Sim is about to pass out also only at home.

-In the middle of getting married it's 2pm and everything is fine but your sleep bar is getting slightly orange? Go find a bench to nap on.

-Out to a bar and it's 9:30pm and you're getting a little tiny bit sleepy? Go for a nap on the bench that's totally normal.

-Just finished dinner it's 5:30pm and feeling the smallest bit tired? Go to sleep, everyone does that.

    - You are royalty out for a spar at 10am? Go sleep on a park bench instead, that's what royalty would do!

Just a few examples of so so many times I've had to cancel autonomous nap/sleep. I really wish there was some resolution or maybe a modder could fix this easier

I am having the same problem with sims with full needs. Random sleeping even when they are doing something and they will go to bed for naps randomly too. It's frustrating. I reset the sims all the time and it doesn't help. I play on console (PS4)

It's not a specific skill. It's all sims all the time. Maybe I should have categorized the question different? I don't think it's a bug it's more of a tuning issue? I'm just finding work autonomy on I'm constantly canceling nap or sleep actions when all the needs are high except sleep is the lowest of their needs even though sleep is only at yellow not even orange or red. Unfortunately I can't record a video, I hope I can explain!

They seem to autonomously full their sleep need by either napping or sleeping wherever they are. I don't have natural living skill. It seems like if your sleep need is lowest of any of your needs sims will auto solve the need even if it isn't that low instead of waiting until they are very tired to go to sleep/nap.

  • I am playing on pc.  This happens for all my sims when their sleep bar is the lowest of any of their needs and even if they are only mildly sleepy they will go to fill their sleep need anyway. That means they are constantly going to sleep or nap if their other needs are filled. I've been noticing this for at least a month or maybe more but it's just starting to get on my nerves now, haha! I wish they would wait until they are almost passing out to autonomously go nap or sleep rather that auto filling the need just because it is the lowest of their needs overall.

what platform are you playing on ? How long has this been going on ?

Never seen this happening in my own game. Is this something you see for all Sims ?
