My Sims are dying too often. I'm creating a family in which four Sims have already died, due to causes like death by a killer chicken or death by a cow plant. When I leave the family to play another one, I immediately get a call that a Sim from the previously played family has died. My other Sim has already had three husbands die and they were young adults/adults. This really ruins the gameplay

- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
No, I’m not using any mods I use only bb.moveobjects and motherlode that’s all.
Do they die at 2:30am? If so you could check your settings for Neighborhood Stories. Maybe you have "Accidental Deaths" enabled only for active Sims (or maybe you just don't have a lot of Sims) which would give them a high chance to die.
another question on top of flauschtrud's: Are they actually dead when you switch to the family ?
No, the die at random times
Yes, there’s an urn on the lot, and the Sim isn’t in the family, not even as a ghost.
could you try turning off accidental death to see if it makes a difference ? Just to be sure that's not the cause.
