Sims favorite drink

@LonelyFew, Not that I'm aware of! 🤔  If you don't' mind playing with Mods, there might be one that allows you to change this 😉 , but since we just had a big update, I wouldn't download any Mods until the creators of them have verified that they have updated the Mods you want, to be compatible with the new updated game! If you play with outdated Mods, it will cause problems in your game.😞  But if you wait a bit you might find what you are looking for! 😇

I sort of think it is funny that a Sim would go to a bar and order water! 😃

If you have mc command center then you can go to the cas bit in the menu and then click on change favourite drink. For some reason plasma jane Isn't on the list so I've been trying to find another mod that can change a sim's favourite drink.

There's a mod called MC Command Center that allows you to change your Sim's favorite drink, which is helpful if your Sim is a non-vampire and decides that Plasma Jane is their favorite drink (really happened to me!) or the minty fresh pet concoction (I've heard of that happening to someone else). However, this only works if you can use mods. There's no vanilla way to do it.

It would be nice if the team would give us an official way to set favorite food and drink. Just for those terrible Plasma Jane/Minty Fresh Pet Concoction emergencies!!!  :D

If a Sim orders the same drink over and over, I thought that would become their favourite drink but it doesn't. My Sims usually always pick the same thing to drink but the favourite drink is nothing like it.

It would just be quicker if it chose the drink they regularly order and set that as their favourite.

@simsplayer818  I'm pretty sure that the first time you click "Order Favorite Drink" it picks one via RNG.

@simsplayer818 - I really hate this "feature". IRL I'm a teetotaler. To make sure my Sims don't order alcoholic beverages I avoid "Order Favourite Drink" option and manually select something I'm sure is alcohol-free like the Rootbeer Float, Cream Cola, or Virgin Caipirinha. I don't trust the RNG to keep my Sims sober. It's a totally inconsiderate system, being random, because it doesn't account for teetotalers, vampires, or anything else that may impose limitations on what drinks might be selected (such as Muslim players or others who are religiously restricted from consuming alcohol, and may want to extend that to their Sim). I've read that it sometimes selects the Plasma Jane for non-vampire Sims, which can make them sick, and rarely selects it for vampire Sims when non-plasma drinks can make them sick without a certain perk. Why would anyone's favourite thing be random and unknown, or something they never had before. Making it RNG was a stupid idea. It should be based on what you've manually ordered the most times. If, for instance, my Sim orders a Rootbeer Float 10x in a row, that should become their favourite. It would both make sense, and give the player control.

@simsplayer818 - I haven't had a drink in many years and only had... too much... once, ever. I just don't like the taste or burn of alcohol, and I really value a clear head and sound judgement. This carries over into my gaming as well. In games I also avoid intoxicants. Would really be nice if the Sims made it simpler to do that. Then again, I have to wonder about the devs habits. If you have all the content and look at the Creativity section of the BB Skills/Activities, about 1/3 (around 40 items) of that entire section is bars, and that's not including the Bubble Tea and Espresso bars. 1/3 of all Creativity items dedicated to a single Skill... Mixology. That's messed up.
