Sims keep dying

Everytime I play in one household a sim from another household dies. It doesn't matter if it's an active household or NPC. It gives me a notification that someone has died and asks what I want to do ...

    I found the fix. There was no need to remove my mods folder. I just had to go into neighborhood stories and unselect dies by accident. Problem solved.

Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache, repair your game and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.
