sims making drinks excessively and do not drink them

This hasn't always gone on, but it has been for days now, and I shouldn't have to mess up my house by removing the bar. It is not just one sim, every single one in this household is doing it. I am waiting on a sim to have a baby and then I will check and see if it's affecting other households and will update. This has got to stop as the butler keeps putting the drinks in the refrigerator and sims never use them from the fridge. Otherwise, they just sit there and spoil if the butler doesn't get to them and then my sims and their guests are disgusted by dirty surroundings. This is just way out of hand. In the picture, this guy is very inspired, and I checked and all of the considerable easels in the house are full but that is not a reason for the sims to do this madness. They could write books on the computer or something. They have sketchpad pros in their inventory so they could paint that way. However, I feel this doesn't just happen when they are inspired. I'll watch to find out and post an update.

  • His wife did it too and she was inspired as well. But initially she went and danced. This came second after he interrupted her dancing.

  • It seems they are inspired when they do this. So far as I am seeing anyway. I also notice the things above their head that was coming from the lot trait natural light. I don't need it right now until the child ages up, so I turned it off. Maybe that is contributing to the problem.

Yes. The ones that are active are Clean Energy Production, Eco-Friendly Appliances, Rock Your Body (And Mind), And Self Sufficiency. NPC voting is disabled in game settings, so the NAPs do not change unless I decide to change them. Which I have not done since I set those in place.

  • Since my last update I went in and played three of my other households on the island and the problem only occurred in one. As far as making a drink and leaving it.

The husband made this one and then went to bed before I could catch him for a picture. His wife did walk in and distract him, and he went and sat by the pool to talk to her. There really needs to be something in place so that if they make a drink, they will grab it and start drinking it and drink it while they are doing something else if possible or finish it and then go do whatever distracted them.

The wife made it and then walked off here. Nobody distracted her so no reason she should not have drank her drink.

The problem is much, much, much worse in the first household I listed. All of the households share the art lover trait, and many have music lover as well, but not all. The first household has also shared the muser trait, so everyone has that. Many also have the creative trait, though not everyone. All of them are level 10 mixologists with certificates (because they can't rely on bartenders to serve them at venues or hired ones at home). The first household inspire each other a lot when talking and also just very inspired by painting and listening to music. They don't cook unless I make them as they have no need for food. They are the only household that are vampires at the moment too.  They do have career reward items in their main painting area that have inspired auras enabled. Figured I would mention this since they tend to go make drinks much more frequently when they are inspired. That is not what I have a problem with. They like their drinks, so be it. I guess I should have worded the title better. The problem is that they don't drink them after making them. This has not always been an issue, or I would have complained about it before now.
