Sims obsessively practise acting

Since the last patch that fixed the bug in the actor career my sims obsessively either practise acting or perform musical scenes.

This sim was painting a picture, when she suddenly wanted to perform a musical scene.

 None of those sims are in the actor career.

Has anybody else observed this since the last update?
