I'm having trouble have my sims take care of their infant, as when I have any of them try to pick up / feed / bathe the child they get the routing error pop up above their head. I was wondering if this is a problem anyone else was experiencing and if anyone knows how to fix. I have tried troubleshooting by teleporting the baby into the middle of the room incase there was an obstacle that meant they couldn't get to the baby but is still not working
When clicking on the infant, is there an option that the parent needs to be introduced to the child?
No they have a full relationship with the baby. I think it must be a bug as when I deleted the crib it stopped happening but if I put any crib down again (I have tried with several cribs) they get the same routing error pop up
If you use mods or cc, try moving the mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then try testing to see if the issue remains without mods/cc, when you place a crib.
I had a similar problem a while back. (there's an error report around somewhere, but it's pre-transition so I don't know where) Couldn't track down the source, but if I saved and exited the game, when I came back it was fine.
