Sims sleep 30 minutes and wake up.

No mods/cc

Playing after the July 1st update, and tried to get my Sim to sleep within the first in game day, but they sleep maybe 30 minutes (in game) and wake back up. Even weirder, after trying multiple times, my Sim grew a beard as if he had slept like 8 days (or however long it takes masculine sims to grow beards, lol.)

Not to mention not being able to drag plates/garbage to trash cans and sinks, or place the whiteboard from businesses and hobbies, like others have posted here. Hoping this'll be fixed soon, or at least by the Enchanted By Nature pack releases 😭 cant even play in these conditions.

  • With the issue with your sim not sleeping, try checking that there isn’t a radio or tv on somewhere that may be keeping them awake. Also if they have pets, try making sure that they are not in the room where they are sleeping.

  • This just started happening to me too since the update. Sims are sleeping in the same place they always sleep and had no issues. No radios or anything in the room. It isn't consistent either. They may sleep a short time, or sleep a long time but get up before their energy bar is completely full, or they may sleep all the way. That is IF I can get them to stay in bed in the first place. That seems to be an issue as well but I'll save that for another post.

My sim started jumping out of bed after sleeping half an hour. It turned out to be related to the recent challenge activity to sleep while listening to the sounds of nature. I had put a sound system in her room and turn on the sounds of nature. But it was at the default volume of medium. When I turned it down to low, she stayed in bed and got a good night's sleep.

  • I had this issue, turns out that the radio playing in the rooms wake the sims up every 10-30 minutes or so (which is funny because I LOVE to fall asleep to music haha). I would recommend checking if you have any noise makers in the room/any adjacent rooms to the one your sim is sleeping in. I hope you get this fixed, happy simming Dag Dag! 🤩

I ended up selling the sound system in the bedroom because even when it was turned off, my sim kept waking up.
