My sim energy need is in the red. Everytime I have them sleep or take a nap, they lay down then instantly get back up. I thought maybe it was an issue with the energy need staying red, but I had my Sim drink coffee and watched the energy bar go up some. The game recently updated to version 1.110.265.1030 DX11, and that is when it began. I have tried restarting the game, leaving the household and coming back, nothing is working.

Currently there does seem to be the unknown reason being a problem again.
Do you have any noise source in the house ?
I've also been having the same issue ever since the last update and my sims don't have any source of noise in their bedrooms. It happens even when speakers, TV's etc are turned off in the rest of the house as well.
Does it matter if there's two Sim in a bed or just one ?
No it makes no difference how many sims are trying to sleep.
I did see it happening in my game from time to time but it was never persistent when reloading the game.
Does it happen in all households ?
So far it's happened in all households whether they are loaded from my save or if I create a new household.

I just had this happen with my sim who was sleeping fine. she was sent to work alone and her husband died while she was gone on a public lot. She returned with hunger, low fun, bladder and sleep deprivation. Went to bed, she got up... I sent her to the bathroom. Went to bed, got up fed her, went to bed got up, she was yelling about the TV but it wasn't on, so we watched the premiere for fun. Went to bed got up.
Left the lot to another house, tried napping and sleeping in someone else's bed, she got up. No one had yelled at her to get up.
The girl won't sleep now. Even the dog was asleep. No radio, no TV,
