Sims wear hats in their nude outfit (Patch 1.119.109)

After today's update (5 November 2025), sims still wear hats in their nude outfits and when they are taking a bath/shower.

Never used cc/mods. Windows 11 PC

I can't comment on the original post since it's now tagged as "fixed" and the option to comment has been removed.[EA Forums] Sims will stop wearing hats while in their nude outfit.

I just tested this on a new save and the bug seems to be fixed for premade sims in the new save and for sims I transferred from the old save.

However, when I return to the old save, the bug returns. I think the bug fix only applies to new saves. The developers didn't specify that on their post. I guess I have to start from scratch for this one.

The fix for this issue only seems to cover new sims.
Existing sims that were added to the game between July and November still have this issue.
Sims created and added before July never had this issue for me.

The above is based on my game saves on XBOX. I obviously have no mods or CC installed. I do have some packs and can list them if required.

as stated in the thread, this might just apply to new sims. Do you have the issue still on a new save game with newly created Sims (not from the gallery) ?

I used a new save file since the last two live events, and Imram Watson was showering with his little hat on.

Weird? Sure! But IRL children have done weirder things. 😆

Jokes aside, it’s like the nevernude bug is getting worse and worse.

But you didn't test a new save after the patch ?

    Hi N379

if you're not opposed to mods you can use LMS mod to reset the nude outfit.

Does it happen to new Sims in the exiting save ?

The fix only applies to new saves, existing saves will still have this issue.

The fix does indeed work with existing sims, however you'll need to create a new save and import the household from the existing save for it to apply.
