When a sim gets married should take the person they married last name
Also when a sim gets married their mother father and siblings should say on family tree son in law brother in law instead of friend or acquaintance

This works as intended. In older days it was customary for the woman to take the husbands surname but today you often see that she keeps her name, he takes her surname or they combine their surnames. You can change it to what you prefer in CAS.
