Could you add the error you're getting to your post ?
That looks like a potentially outdated mod issue
Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache, repair your game and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.
I moved the mods folder to my desktop, delete localthumbcache, and repair the game. The error logged no longer pops up in the game but still having issue with mountain climb excursion event. It will go to the manage worlds after I clicked to set it up.
