Sold Time of Echos Shards - Cant Complete Quest

Question

Hello, Im a new Sims player and was going through an inventory cleanout... I sold my quest shards and cant complete the current quest to get to the next task.

I've tried digging in different areas of the world in hopes for a chance to get new shards, Ive also clicked my mailbox at home and the vet business I own. How do I gain my shards back? Otherwise Im stuck for until the end of this quest for a month........ :(

Im having an issue with this too im not sure what to do it wouldn’t let me complete the challenge in one save i had to do it in another but now the other sim has the other two shards im stuck 🥲
