Is your game fully updated? If not, please update.
In this case, an outdated or missing graphics card driver is one of the most common causes that makes the Sims 4 keeps crashing, so could be the cause. Sometimes, corrupt game files in Origin can cause Sims 4 games to keep crashing. There may be compatibility issues or software conflicts in your PC.
There are many possibilities, but I don't think it's an issue with the game itself, so it must be an issue with your PC. Please look into the possible causes I listed above!

@Bluebellflora yeah, i suppose. i moved the problem household to a new world and the game crashed again. played the residential rental thinking they were the problem and the game crashed still. i removed both the lot and the household and things seem fine now. i guess there was bad cc on the lot and on one of the sims, ha
