Sorry if this question isn't in the right place

but is there any way to play The Sims 4 offline? There should be a way.  Thank you. Michelle

    @metmichallica I'm not sure what you mean by "your isp cuts you off".  If you don't have internet access, you can still log in and play TS4, you just won't be able to connect to Origin.  Please see my edit above.  I was able to launch and play offline.  Do you have the desktop shortcut for TS4?  If not, you can create one from the Program Files.  Go to your File Explorer and look for the .exe file below.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\TS4_x64.exe

    Right click that .exe file and select create shortcut, then move that to your desktop or taskbar for easier access.

@metmichallica I do apologize for the confusion.  Since you have TS4 set up through Origin you will need to be signed in, even when you are disconnected from the internet.  Try this...

While still connected to the internet, log in to Origin and make sure you check the "Keep me signed in" option.  This will bypass the login screen in the future (as long as you don't sign out of Origin).

Disconnect your internet / wifi.  Open the game using the desktop shortcut.  The game should launch automatically.  If that doesn't happen or if you have any problems with the game, come back and give an update.

You fixed everything.  I don't need to sign on to origin while connected to the internet.  You can sign on without being connected to internet.  It will just go in offline mode.
