Sparkles and Twirling Leaves on my Harvestables

So.. today, after the patch/update, I noticed some oddities. Now there are pixies! That's ok. I don't mind spending time shooing them off...    But my perfect garden (thanks to my Fairy enchanting ...

Does your sim have the gnome lure ailment? This ailment brings gnomes to the lot and they can help with the gardening. The gnomes may be causing the sparkles?

    Nope. Sim is healthy, balanced alignment. Everything works... I just don't get an 'evolve' option. Also, it's stopped now. So I'm not sure what happened.
