starting fund 0 when splitting household

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Latest 6/6/20 7:04pm PT
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All including eco
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? split a household, create a new household and put one sim in there
What happens when the bug occurs? starting funds are 0
What do you expect to see? 20,000
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure 

When spliting a current household to one new household with one sim, starting funds are 0.
It used to be 20,000 and I see other players who still have the 20,000.... It happens even with a new save/fresh game.

  • @Meluseath If you're splitting, you can choose how much you money you want to move over to the other household. Did you give the new household any money ?
  • The family that sims start from is really poor.... So there is no extra for the teen that grew up to Young adult and needs to move out (100 baby challenge)
    Yet, on Kelsey Impicciche's 100 baby challenge (Youtube on buzzfeed multiplayer) it clearly works for her...

    It used to work that way too... It shouldn't be any different from a fresh sims coming out of CAS.

    @Meluseath You put them in CAS to put in a fresh household ?

    They changed this a few patches ago so you can better adjust how much money you want.

    That's how the splitting now works. If they don't have enough money, you'll need to cheat.
