Story Progression update is flawed and annoying

LittleMsSam and 83bienchen know how you make a comfortable mod service. I really like by both that there are no ads and both are well organized. Much comfortable as with patreon.

I heard that germans have a *bureaucracy* self in IRL and really, I know immediately if the modder is german because I never saw an unorganized site from a german modder.

My favorite CC hair maker is Birkse(german) and here site is also well organized + without ads.

Update: I FINALLY had a Sim that I convinced to expand the family get pregnant! The only difference that I can see is that instead of her calling us, we went to her house and talked to her. So Bella and Morty are expecting.

Has anyone else had the phone calls work?

Yeah but I only seem to get it with my own sims that I'm not currently playing the house of. The mum of my sim called to ask if she should have another baby and I said yeah then I kind of forgot about it and didn't check. But then once I remembered, I checked and there was a new baby.

There's still the chance of the sim not getting pregnant so sometimes telling them yes doesn't really do anything.

I saw an article that apparently Sims players had been asking the team to introduce this for years but I know I wasn't, in 20 years of playing the Sims I didn't think it was necessary. It's just caused problems and it's made the constant calls and text messages go into overdrive as I've already said on that bug feed. Plus it has a negative relationship effect if you don't give the answer they want and you get a nasty message from them.

I had the problem with my non committal Sims new partner telling him she'd found a ring from him after they'd just started dating and I dismissed it but then he got messages they were engaged. But that was apparently fixed in the latest patch. I'm also getting messages from elder Sims asking if they should try for a baby.

The calls do definitely work, but they work when I say no as well. I usually just ignore it but if I go to use the phone to do something, these calls override what I'm doing and I've answered it before I know it. I usually just agree if it's for a promotion and I get the promotion notification sound that it's worked for their acquaintance. The baby one though, I always say no but it has still registered as a yes. One friend suddenly had not 1 but 3 babies. I've noticed that when I said no to the request about spending time with another Sim, I got a message saying they'd had a great time. But I'd said no. I've started checking my Households for extra babies I don't know about. I have this thing about Sim babies in a house with no nursery! It was the thing I hated about Sims 3 where neighbours had babies lying on their front lawn unattended! It used to stress me out.

I think it's something that could have been a game option instead, like lifestyles which I could just disable. The big problem I have with it is that the phone starts from the minute you've just said hello to someone and they are barely an acquaintance. It's unrealistic, these are things I don't ring my best mates about in real life, much less the person I pass the time of day with when they deliver my groceries. As much as I know them to say Hi, ask how work is going and know which footie team they support, if they suddenly said to me so should I have another baby...well that would just be SUPER awkward!
