@CGrant56 Its not really the apartment that a played sim is in though apartments are locked to the detective career as they can not place npc sims in a played household, because crime scence remove required objects for played sims until complete. The crime scene is active until case is solved or the criminal dies, so any household with the detective job can work on same case.
@Sid1701d9 Well, I have been unable to duplicate what you are seeing for the simple fact that I have yet to get a crime scene, or any other related trip, in San Myshuno. I have done 12 so far with my detective and haven't had any action (Crime Scene, Patrol, APB, etc.) send my there. I even got sent to Selvadorada for an arrest and my own home lot in Sulani to go on patrol. I hit every other world, some multiple times, and most of the different venue types but no San Myshuno which makes me wonder if my sim will ever get sent there. She's progressed to level 10 now and this one has me stumped.
I'm sorry but I just don't know what else to tell you.
