SUGGESTION : Ability to bind Bunnies and Foxes from Cottage Living into magical

Cross-pack Suggestion; Ability to bind bunnies & Foxes from CL into magical familiars

This is a cross-pack feature with RoM and Cats and Dogs, and would be easily implemented to CL. The familiar pets function as normal pets would, but give you the confidence moodlet, talk to you upon learning something new / leveling with the same messages the RoM familiars do, and gain a magical aura.

Basically only change to the CL their behaviours needed apart the familiar stuff would be the disabling of them exiting the lot during the time of summoning, but it'd add a lot of storytelling possibilities.

  • @loconuttonen I had a similar idea!
In the end what I did was to add rabbits, birds and foxes to a Glimmerbrook lot belonging to my good witch Aurora Greenleaf, she's a Wiccan based on Glinda the good. I found that they worked more reliably than they do on Cottage Living lots. They seemed to be less glitchy.
It's a shame they couldn't be bound as familiars but with her relationships with all of them maxed out it created a really lovely result. By the time she finished singing to all of them every day she hardly got anything done.
She has a hedgehog too but again he couldn't be bound as a familiar and that would have been a good one, the rats or bubalus would have been great familiars too.
So I settled on only the good familiars as she only practices good magic.
  • @loconuttonen This is a great idea! I'd also want to see the familiar feature updated and expanded to make the familiars more interesting.

I'd also like to see the familiars a bit less buggy as mine sometimes duplicate or get stuck floating somewhere! But some more interaction from them would be good, especially when you bind a family pet as a familiar. If binding them changed their status dramatically that would be interesting, but it doesn't really do anything too exciting.

But then watching Salem on the OG Sabrina the teenage witch used to be my Saturday morning post clubbing routine! So I may be expecting a little too much.

How awesome would it be though, if you could bind a llama? And why have they not done that? It's the mascot for the game. Or even a very wise chicken?
