    It is fixed.  I used the "Hazed Tape Gate" and "Smooth Keeper Fence" instead of removing the wall. This fixed the lighting issue. I still have the sunken room, but without sunshine coming through the walls.   Screenshot 55 was my solution using the "Hazed Tape Gate" that way. Screenshot 53 shows the process to get the centered Hazed Tape Gate on the staircase down.  Sadly, although the room can be saved, it cannot be placed without losing most of the items on the floor, as it does not save the foundation height.

It's not a bug...it was the build.  The game just wasn't designed for the floor being removed along with a wall.  You can mark this as done: I learned a lot regarding this issue.  There are tricks to make this sunken room look work, but the room has to be fully enclosed to keep outside light from ignoring the walls (that tape gate works well for this build).  The fully enclosed room cannot be saved in pristine condition with the floor removed from a foundation with height: the items on the floor/ground will simply vanish.

    Note:  enclosing that room made the game a lot more sensitive to placing objects using the bb.moveobjects command.  If the lot is saved to the library and then placed, several objects "force placed" will not load.  However, if you force place objects after the lot is placed, the game will retain the items if you save that lot using the regular save feature.  I decided not to upload this problematic built to the gallery.

    I was able to get this room fixed...and did upload it to the gallery.  It is not a bug, it was my build.
