Talent Showcase Conflict

Hi everyone, 

I am trying to plan wedding events over the weekend for my Sims, but I cannot plan an event because of the talent showcase, I am guessing. The button to add an event is completely greyed out because it says I can't have two events on the same day. Is there a way to disable the talent showcase? I tried deleting the lot it was on, but it just changed lots.

    I am having this same issue!!! I'm annoyed their is no response. ugh.  Like let me delete the **darn** talent showcase no one cares about that! I'm annoyed lol . I want to plan the charms wedding on a Saturday and only weekdays are available,  (Mon, - Wednesday) making doing the  scenarios challenge hard,
