@RaichiSims Same thing happen to me, I played on the same save file for a long time. The world become so boring, nobody fill in empty house, elders die of old age, the game may generate random townies but there are so little kids and teen. Because of this, I'm "forced" to create young sims so my teen child can find lovers. Of course this is kinda boring, it's more fun if there are a lot of teen sims generated by the game and we are challenged to find a sims with that we want.
@AndyZhang2896 I actually created a Dormitory to put 7 teens and a young adult in so that my teens can visit that lot and meet them as a "solution". The game just doesn't have those 7 teens visit the public venues that have the "teen neighborhood" trait, hence why I put solution in quotation marks, because it doesn't solve the lot trait from not living up to its promises. ☹️
- @RaichiSims Oh, I thought there's only 1 teen on your worlds.
When in school ask them to make friends. This will cause the game to generate a few if none is available.
Again, I have teenagers in my world, they are just not visiting the lots that have the "teen neighborhood" trait because for some reason the trait isn't working.
I also find it frustrating when things do not work that way I expect.
Teen hangout lot trait.
How it is described:"More teens will hang out in the neighborhood that surrounds this lot. You'll spot them roaming around and loitering in the streets, as teens are known to do. It's a good opportunity for teens in your household to meet new friends their own age!"
How it is presented: "Teenager Sims will visit the lot more often than usual."
What I expect: To see more teens in the game for my teen to meet while on my own or a community lot.
It seems the intent was good but the actuality does not meet the expectations of the players.
I still enjoy playing the game as it has been presented to us even when things do not go as expected.
Using alternate ways to play and work around this type of thing makes it a bit more challenging.- EQ Avid Sims Player

- @jpkarlsen I do have teen townies. But it's only a few. Probably less than 10. I go to Teen Neighborhood lot (Rattlesnake Bar) and there's not a single teen show up. Maybe because teens won't go to the Bar? But there's not a single teen on the roads too. I've added 2 teens manually into the game.
That trait should be used on your own lot. It will cause more teens to wander around in your neighborhood. It does not attract teens to a certain venue.
