Telescopes Not Working Correctly

Issue:  Back Pocket Observatory, Avelina's Trusty Telescope, and Backyard Observatory do not function correctly.  Even though it is within the hours of nighttime, neither the Moongaze nor the Stargaze options are available.

*ALL mods have been removed completely from game.

*This happens on ALL saved files currently.

    Hi @PEBC4K , to be sure, after you removed your mods did you delete the localthumbcache file and repair your game?

    Also just to be sure, you are testing after 8pm ingame?

    Yes, I did all 3 of those things ☚ī¸

    Hi  @PEBC4K 

    gave this a test and it's working fine for me

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. Be aware that your claimed event rewards will also be gone for the time being but you will get them back with your other things.
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

    @crinrict Ty!! We're getting closer, b/c at least I now can see a fix. After doing this, the game works in the new save and I wasn't seeing this error. Now how to figure out what is causing the error in the current file lol 🙂

    @crinrict No, I figured it out but when I actually tried to put my old saves back in, the same thing was happening again T_T And no, I did not put my mods in yet only the save files.

    Hey apologies for the delay!!

    I just made an entirely new save file/game with no mods and now the same error is happening.  I'm so frustrated and I'm surprised I'm the only person with this issue at this point xD
