@SqueamishNerd, my game usually just changes the piece of music entirely, so I have never noticed any different arraignments of the same piece! 🤨

I was thinking about the arrangement changes you were experiencing and the only thing I can think of is if you do into detailed mode in CAS how the music a little more subtle, but this is on purpose. I remember the developers mentioning this before the game was released as they were demonstrating CAS for TS4.🙂 But that is as close to what you are experiencing that I have noticed. 🤔
@PugLove888I am one of those weirdos that likes the BB/CAS music. I'll even stay in those modes just to finish a song 😉
@RandomBuzziness, I like B/B and CAS music as well! Some songs more than others, of course, which is why when I exit either B/B or CAS and then reenter , only to find out the song changed, I get a little sad! 😃
But the best B/B and CAS music was found in TS1 and TS2! ❤️
@PugLove888 It's probably supposed to work like that, i.e. the arrangement change when going from clothes to face and such big categories, but, at least in my game, it changes no matter which category I click on, and it's not the same arrangement for a specific category. For example: Loud arrangement -> clicks on makeup -> subtle arrangement -> clicks on accessories -> loud arr -> clicks on hair -> subtle arr -> clicks on makeup again (expect subtle arr since that's what it was last time) -> loud arr... It's not consistent and it changes almost every time I go from one category to another. The same in BB, it would kind of make sense if the arrangement changed when going between build and buy, but it changes for every category within build and within buy. How could they have designed it this way? As a kind-of-musician (playing the piano since I was little), and having musical synaesthesia, it just gets really annoying. I love the music, but I don't like it when the arrangement change back and forth all the time. 🙁
@RandomBuzziness Yeah, I LOVE the music too, I also sometimes stay in CAS or BB just to listen 'til the end of a piece, especially the music from Vampires, StrangerVille, and Realm of Magic. 😍 The thing that annoys me about the music is that the arrangement change when I click on different categories. I don't mind the different arrangements if I just got to listen to one at the time, but when it changes back and forth between the arrangements it gets annoying.
@SqueamishNerd, it is funny but I've never noticed the arrangements changing. Normally I would notice something like that.🤔 But then again, I get really involved in making Sims, so I'm more likely to notice the music when I'm in Build or Buy Mode. 😳
I love the music from those 3 packs as well! ❤️ I also really like the Cats & Dogs music as a nice bubbly contrast to those! 😉
