Data size of lots has become much larger

Since the May 12 update, the data size of lots has suddenly become much larger. I saved the exact same lot from the exact same save file, but the file size increased from 309 KB to 15 MB before and after the update. (I live in Japan, so the update actually arrived on May 13 for me.)

I have not made any major renovations to the house. I only added a few photos and paintings, and changed some of the platform/foundation floor types. The game shows the “modded” icon because I use CC for the household’s hairstyles and clothing, but I have never installed any build/buy CC.

I do not understand why the data size suddenly increased so dramatically.(ファイル=file)

I’m not sure if I chose the correct tags, since none of them seemed to fit exactly. Please let me know if I should change them.

I moved this to bugs for now but can you see if the size goes down again if you remove the photos/paintings ?

rin_86ta Most of the increase is probably due to the photos and paintings. Photos that you take with in game cameras are stored in the save file, but copies are placed in the screenshots folder when you take them and are where you can see the files sizes of each photo. When you copy a lot to your Library, any photos on the lot are copied with the lot. So, if you look in your lot and see what photos you added, then look in the screenshots folder and look at the same photos then add up the sizes, it will probably be close to the increase in your house size. Idk if paintings do the same as I very rarely do reference paintings, but I would guess it would work the same way.

Btw, paintings by reference and photos taken in game will cause a lot to have the CC tag. It is not you CAS CC causing your lot to be tagged as having CC. It would cause the CC tag for a household.
