I'm trying to put lamps outside and nothing lights up.. I've also tried lamps from the outdoor category and nothing. I've tried building something like a ceiling on top and nothing. Has anyone encountered this?
You might just have to wait until later in the day? Sims outdoor lights only turn on overnight. If you go into build mode and switch to night, are they still off?
Yes. But I'll still try to fix the game, maybe a temporary bug.
Actually, looking at your picture again, is it possible your game considers them “indoor” lights because it’s counting the porch as a “room”? If you haven’t tried just clicking on the lights in live mode to turn them on, try that. If you already tried that and the lot has electricity otherwise then yes, maybe a game repair would help. Do you use any mods/cc?
