The new update messed up my game. I cannot play the event

Hi, I updated the game today, and none of my save files work. As a result, I cannot play the newest Sims 4 even.t I can open the game and load in,n but when I click on a household to use, whether new or not, it  throws me back to world select  please fix this soon I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well as repairing the game and removing my mods folder nothing works

    This happened to me recently, though not with this update. It was caused by an outdated mod, and the game worked fine once it was removed (in this case it was a custom active career mod).

    Check your script mods and try removing them to see which is breaking the game. Alternatively make sure all mods are updated for this patch - though it may take a while for that to happen.
