The reason we need cars in sims 4

Ok. So I have been doing my research and playin from sims 2 to now 4 I believe we actually are in need of cars, just as much as we need thing like knitting, and etc. so first I’m going to address how they would work. So you guys may or may not remember  the Sims 3 on Xbox, I play on Xbox and pc btw, but Anyways there world wasn’t open there and we still had the car functions. It would be place on you lot or in the garage and appear and take you to the end of the street, which I enjoy. I mean I appreciate the open world but that’s not gonna happen, but we had that in the sims 3 and that exactly how the sims 4 works... Things that we could benefit from is like the mechanic skills and stuff like that. Like keeping up with the maintenance... That skill existed in the sims 2, but disappeared in in ts3... there used to be like the maids sloppy jolopy, outside and the repair mans truck and I know I’m not the only one who misses it that much... so pls add opinion on what you think they should add to grab EA’s attention-Ryguyplayer10

    One thing I loved about the XBox 360 version of The Sims 3: Pets were the special blue Taxis that pets could use to travel to different neighborhoods in Sugar Maple Coast xD

    @ryankirk10  Though I understand why some simmers would like cars and I wouldn't complain if Sims 4 had functional cars in the near future...I also don't think we absolutely need them because it is not open world. They did add deco cars and you can download a bunch of CC deco cars for the feel or real look of having a car on your lot, which was enough for me. If anything, I actually do want an open world for Sims 4 and then yes I would want cars. Lol. Though The Sims 4 is lacking in a lot of content compared to past series of The Sims and they get a lot of criticism and unsatisfied fans, the car one is kinda meh for me personally. I would much rather see The Sims 4 expand in other areas such as babies. I simply just want more content to come with their expansion packs. Like basic stuff. So I guess is what I am trying to say is if The Sims 4 is going to finally really listen to their fans when it comes to expanding content, I wouldn't be surprised if it something else other than cars that really don't serve a purpose in a non open world, but functional cars would be a nice edition. Like I wouldn't say no to them. I totally feel you though, you and many other simmers. xD

    I don't expect the car to be functional, although it will be great. I just want cars that a sims can buy and make their house looks luxurious/show off their wealth. I was expecting the price is expensive like 100.000 simoleons to million.
    I know there's a lot of CC but I'm really not into it.

    Cars would be such a great addition! They'd help make homes look more realistic. I think it'd be cool if you could buy a low end car and tinker with it to get your handiness skill up. Cars could break down and need repairs. Maybe you could also have a parent teach a teenager to drive. There's things they can do with cars that don't require an open world that could still make them a nice thing to have in the game. Could make a cool stuff pack.
