The silenced phone still get phone calls / UI didn't change phone icon

There are 2 problems:

  1. Incorrect icon: When I set phone (bottom-left) > Silence, in the old Sims 4 versions the phone icon changes to ">>[ ]<<" icon IIRC. Now, no matter I toggle silence/unsilence status, the phone icon stays "phone" icon itself.
  2. Making silence mode meaningless: And when I set it to silence mode, I expect ZERO phone calls. but now I have some calls/msgs per day. Since when did this happened?? No my sim is not a celebrity or something, just ordinary.

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.
    • The icon sounds off but to my knowledge, you still get phone calls. The phone is just silent. Did you maybe had a mod that turned that off that you removed ? See this: Silenced phone isn't silent | EA Forums - 13047433 
    • Could you post a pic for the incorrect icon ?

    Happens to me too. Phone is silenced, still getting calls.

    Not even adult mod can silence it and it has a feature that mutes the phone & prevents using it.

    UI shows the phone icon with the little lines left & right when silenced but Im looking at a call right now. Got the call sign while I was on another sim, switched sims, phone rang while muted, clicked on the phone, usual accept or decline icons popped up, clicked on accept and... well... See for yourself:

    As you can (barely) see. Phone is on silence but the call still came through.
