The Sims 4 on Chromebook
Hello!
I currently have a chromebook, and I took advantage of the 85% off sale of the Sims 4, even thought I know the game doesn't run on my software.
Can I "save" my purchase and when I do get a new computer, could I simply download it on there? Or will I only be able to download it on the same computer I purchased it on?
I know it kind of does sound like a stupid question, but I'm just curious. The purchase is tied to my Origin Account, so I would assume that I could just log in from whatever computer I am on and download the game that way. But also because it is the kind of game that you purchase off of an actual website (and this is the first time I've purchased a game of this nature), I wasn't sure if the "downloading rules" were any different than a simple free-to-play website game. I just wanted to double check.
Thanks so much for the help.
@SamT9744 I've moved your post to the General Discussion section.
You assume correctly: the game can be downloaded on any computer you want (that meets requirements). I've installed on several computers without any trouble, and without needing to uninstall. And it's certainly not stupid to ask, especially since if the answer were no, you could still get a refund.
When you do decide to get a new computer, feel free to ask here for advice on models that would run Sims 4 to your liking.
