Timed Out issue when uploading to the gallery

The update was supposed to fix the timeout issue, apparently, but for me it didn't do anything.  I can't upload lots or sims to my library or to the gallery in a clean game with no mods and it didn't work today, just like it hasn't been working for a long time. My game doesn't freeze but I continue to get the same timeout error I've always received and nothing saves, even if I wait a long time.  I just want to be able upload my builds to my own library and save my sim families in case of save corruption. I tried with an in-game starter home made by Maxis, one of my own lots (20X30) which was by no means full or overdecorated, and a larger build made by a Sim Creator to go with Lovestruck. None worked.  By the way, I had just updated the game to the newest patch and I also repaired it. This had no effect on the glitch.
