It says purchase processing "We've Billed you for your order but some items may not have been delivered yet.

It's the next day, 14 hours after I should have the pack. When I login to origin account billing it says next to High School Years "We've billed you for your order but some items may not have been delivered yet". That's not helping me, nor is logging into the link given earlier, as it seems to be for people happily playing the game and posting screenshots of it. I am on a Mac running Monterey, but I see this thread now says Xbox One. What do I do please? I've wasted a lot of money. I've dealt with customer support before and no way am I doing a whole factory reset of my Mac again! Disastrous! Thank you if anyone can help or direct me to the right thread for Mac in this forum.

@Gednaa I play on pc and am having the same issue. it's so weird.

Did anyone download through a place other than origin that maybe I'm not allowed to mention here? (Clue - when you boil a kettle!) I know a fix but will have to get permission to share it. It's not going to help the rest of us though!

@Gednaa I didn't.
I've been checking every thread that's reported a similar issue. found a fix that worked for some console players. nothing for pc yet, though.

We are also having problems on Mac. Expansion pack says downloaded and installed but isn’t showing up in the game with other packs.

I even used the origin reset for Mac tool, , signed in, repaired the game... still nothing! Every pack but HS. What else can we try?
NB!!!! Editing to say please back up your mods, saves and tray folders before you attempt this!
Another strange thing is that all day yesterday the world was showing up as pre-ordered, but now that is missing as well as the world. It's a whole new world right? Not one we travel via the phone to? I'll go back in and check, but as it's not a holiday destination, I doubt it, but I'm clutching at straws now!

I've made some progress!!! 🙂 I got this message from @EA_Leeuw in another thread:
"Hey everyone,
It's sometimes possible that orders can take up to 24h-36h to fully go through and finish the process.
This is mainly dependent on which payment method was being used to place the order.
If the Pack still doesn't show up as Owned and ready to be downloaded/installed after 24h-36h, the best thing you can do is reach out to our EA Live Support team via https://help.ea.com/contact-us, so they can take a look at your account.
Thanks."

Thanks so much for the help! Fingers crossed! I found that when travelling with my teen the preordered image showed up again! It has a padlock and is telling me to pre-order! Not happening! I've bought and paid, so I hope it will right itself in due course. Thanks again! :D

I’ve been having the same problem and communicating with EA via emails. I think it’s an issue with payment. I think they don’t take the funds until the actual release date. Which in my opinion, is a lil wack, because then what is the point in paying for it ahead of time? I think they should at least let it be known in the preorder info when the funds will be taken.

Just a little heads-up regarding what I wrote in the other thread, so the info isn't being taken out of context; the 24h-36h is regarding purchases made via Origin/EA app.
If you're having issues with your purchase that has been made via either PlayStation or Xbox, I recommend reaching out to their Support.

@mirandavash, for pre-order purchases made via Origin/EA app, it really depends when you have made this pre-order. For very early pre-orders, like pre-orders being placed months and months in advance, it could be 2 - 1 week in advance of launch for example. Or if you have pre-ordered something closer to launch, this can be a few days before launch or release even sometimes. It also very much depends on which payment method you have used, since all of those things work different. - 4 years ago
I appreciate your info! I also purchased two packs that had already been out when I preordered High School Years, via the EA app. This was on July 1st. I received a few emails saying there was an issue with my preorder during the 2-3 days before the release date, which led me to believe they didn’t take the funds out on the date of purchase. But the purchase seemed to have gone through fine, and I also have proof of purchase from my order history online, which says the same thing mentioned by others above “some items may not be delivered yet”. I had this same problem when Cottage Living released, since I also preordered it ahead of time. This is the first I’m hearing about 24-36 hour window for preorders to process though, so I I will give it time as well.

@mirandavash, the 24h-36h processing time is a default something that mainly counts for orders of products that have fully launched already, but indeed sometimes it can also count for pre-orders.
If you haven't noticed any change in your order situation this Saturday/Sunday or Monday, I would recommend reaching out to the EA Live Support team so they can take a look at what might have gone wrong. (If you placed the order for PC/Mac via us, that is.) - 4 years ago@mirandavash let me know if you get it solved since we are having the EXACT same issue!!!!

Still no luck. I have been getting many emails saying there’s a problem with my payment method, but I already paid on the date that I said. If they’re trying to take the funds now, why preorder ahead of time? I hope I’m wrong, because I won’t be spending the money again. Fingers crossed I can get ahold of an advisor or someone through emails that can help me.

Update: Finally got ahold of an EA Advisor via chat. I was told that this is a common, global issue that the sims team and EA are aware of. I think there will be a fix soon. Disappointing, but I’m relieved to know I probably won’t have to spend anymore money. Bummer. I was so looking forward to playing with the new content.

Unfortunately I had to repurchase Cottage Living. I am unsure if I got the first purchase of it refunded or not, and I’m unsure if EA eventually put an update out that fixed the buggy preorders. But I do remember with Cottage Living, reading on Twitter from the official accounts that there was a server issue or something along those lines that messed up the preorder processing. Also, still no luck with HS Years lol gonna be playing the waiting game for a while. But I will be in touch with another advisor if nothing is fixed by Monday. We must try our best to be patient. I’ve been playing Sims 3 in the meantime lmao
