Toddler's glitching after the last update

I am having so many problems with my toddlers since the last update. I have a 5 Sim household that has three children in it: 1 infant and 2 toddlers. Both toddlers keep taking themselves outside and getting stuck in random positions - the only way I can get them back inside is by travelling with them away from the home and then sending them to daycare and travelling back home. One of the toddlers won't eat anything that isn't a piece of fruit from his inventory - he won't eat in a high chair, won't eat outside of the chair and won't eat if you drag something to his inventory, he just sits in a chair or on the bed and slowly starves...I have had to resort to dropping fruit into the inventory because he will eat that, if it comes on a plate it just isn't being eaten. The infant has also glitched a few times too, including being taken half way down the stairs by the butler and then put down - no one could pick him up and the only way to get him back was to travel with him and then travel home (it was winter and he nearly froze to death). Is there something I am missing? Is there a way to fix my glitching toddlers?
