"Towel Storage Rack, Empty" Missing Slots

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.95
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions, All Game Pack (except STJTB) All Stuff Packs (except LPSP, SSP, MFPSP) All Kits (except MMK, FSK)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Build Buy Mode. Filter by rooms - Bathroom Clutter You will find the shelf named "the towel storage rack, empty"
What happens when the bug occurs? No slots when it should have atleast 1 slot
What do you expect to see? Slots to fill the shelf
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

    And in addition to the above updates, a few new color variants have been added to round out some of our basics for the Towel Storage Rack (full and empty version) and the Countryside Caress Medicine Cabinet. 

     

    Added with Patch 1.97.42/1.73

    Hi there @gooochyeee,

    As this is currently by design, so I've moved your post over to the feedback section instead.

    This towel rack is a base game asset, and as it's intended to be empty, there are no slots available to be filled with items. However, if you'd like to place something on these shelves, you can use the moveobjects cheat to place small decor items there instead- this is a trick I've used for this particular item quite a few times to fill it up a bit 🙂 

    There is another version of this item available that is filled with towels already labeled Towel Storage Rack, Full that comes with towels already slotted in as well.

    @EA_Solaire Hi I know about the towel storage rack, full but its towels swatches arent that nice and are pretty bold. If you can can you ask about adding slots as the shelving being empty doesnt make a whole lot of sense. bb.moveobjects is a idea ill give I go, thank you for your time

    I'd be happy to send your feedback along to the teams on this! 

    Some of the towel swatches for the Full rack are a bit bold, instead you can look into the Hotel Folded Bath Towels base game item, which have some great color swatches. I personally also love adding clutter items from Bathroom Clutter to this shelving unit with moveobjects. If you create a room or build with this, please share with us, I'd love to see what you come up with 🙂

    @gooochyeee I agree about the color swatches on the filled shelf, and would also love the idea of slots being added to this towel rack - especially if it could be made to accommodate the folded towels item, the rolled washcloths one that is super-cute (Spa Day), and other bathroom clutter items. 👍 However, since I don't believe this item is listed under shelves (I think its just under clutter), I don't think we can technically expect slots.

    I sometimes do what you mentioned @EA_Solaire – add towels and items to this shelf via the MOO cheat (which looks great and is a nice workaround) – but I prefer to add objects to shelving that will stay with the shelf (disappear) when the wall drops, which doesn't happen with this shelf.  Adding the slots to this shelf should make the towels that are added (and other items that snap to it) drop with the wall.
