Trash can not working and Create a sim buttons glitch

I cant drag plates and cups to the trash can or the sink anymore, i have to click on the plate and say clean up now. Is it a glitch or apart of the new update?? When im in create a sim, the buttoms l...

Was the issue fixed  when you tested without mods? Or did it still remain?
