My fully grown trees 3apple, 3 lemon, and 1 crystal have reverted to dirt piles the crystal trees crystals are floating.
i have all dlc and no mods.
this happened after installing the two new kits as it was fine last night.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a greenhouse/garden with fully grown plants. Update log back into game.
What happens when the bug occurs? The trees reverted to dirt piles (3 apple, 3 lemon, 1 gem tree). The gem tree has gems still floating and growing in the air. My sim can put the floating gems in their inventory when fully grown but not autonomously. In the greenhouse the plants didn’t turn into dirt piles however they can no longer be weeded the animation loops and the weeds don’t go away.
What do you expect to see? Full grown trees and no weeds.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The kits it started after I installed the urban and party essential kits.
I will try replanting everything
There is a cheat which may help. First make sure testingcheats are on. If you have UI Extensions Mod this is automatic.
Next shift + left click (PC) on the plant or dirt pile. Choose “Set Gardening State” and you will be able to control the weeds as well as growth. You will need to do this to every plant. To gain harvest do this before 5am the next morning.
If the weeds don’t clear, shift + left click “Reset object.” That will clear the weeds.
Hope it helps. I haven’t had this issue since the update. Check your mods and make sure they’re up to date.
Make sure you have testingcheats on. If you’re not on PC use the controls that would be “shift” + “left click.”
I'm experiencing the exact same thing. It's very frustrating, if you're into gardening sometimes the plants 'reset' and go back to being freshly planted.
