Same issue here!
I do use two mods but they have been updated before this started happening or I even opened and updated my game
Here's what someone said in another post about this:
Please remove your Mods folder and test again. You don't need to save your progress.
If that doesn't help, try a different household within the same save, and also a different save for comparison's sake. The question is whether the save is the issue or the game in general.
If at least the different save is fine, please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you see. Try again to load your main household in your main save, and if it gets stuck loading, look for a new lastexception. If you find one, open it and copy the text, then paste it into a reply here. Please only provide a LE that was generated with your Mods folder removed.
